About Stormhold Games

Stormhold Games grew out of a love for trading card games that started over two decades ago, cracking packs during Mirrodin block and playing kitchen-table Magic through Kamigawa, Ravnica, and Time Spiral all the way to original Zendikar. Those sets, and the community around them, left a lasting impression. That same passion for the game drives what we stock, how we grade, and why we care about getting it right.

We're a New Zealand-based online store for TCG players and collectors. We stock Magic: The Gathering singles, rare and out-of-print card games, and gaming accessories - shipped with tracked delivery across New Zealand and Australia.

We started Stormhold Games because we believe NZ and Australian card players deserve better local options. Too many players in this part of the world pay steep international shipping and wait weeks for cards to arrive from overseas. We wanted to build something closer to home: a store with fast regional shipping, honest condition grading, and a curated range of products you won't find at every other shop.

Our MTG singles are graded conservatively, when a card falls between two grades, we always grade down. We'd rather you open your package and be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. Every card listing includes a clear condition grade, and our Grading Guide explains exactly what each grade means.

Beyond MTG, we carry hard-to-find stock from out-of-print card games like Legend of the Five Rings, games that still have devoted collector communities but increasingly limited supply. If you're hunting for something specific, get in touch. We may be able to track it down.

We're based in New Zealand, and proud to serve the NZ and Australian gaming community. If you have a question, a request, or just want to talk cards, reach us at enquiries@stormholdgames.co.nz.
